There are two kind of ransformer (or nicknamed ‘Trafo’ or ‘Transformator’ for Indonesian – which I don’t know where they got that kind of names): step-up and step-down, differ only by their output voltages. Cyril DO need a step-down one. if you want to use transformer in electronics experiment or hobby, check the cable first! Don’t let any cable performs short (touch one another[?] cmiiw, my English for tech matter isn’t really good orz) and check the cable for input and cable for output first to avoid any blackout – or scoldings.
